Who you are

You have 2+ years of experience in credit research, either on the buy-side or sell-side, and possess outstanding skills in conducting fundamental credit research. Your expertise includes financial modeling and relative value analysis, allowing you to analyze businesses and capital structures effectively. You are familiar with various credit securities, including bonds and credit default swaps, and are comfortable dealing with uncertainty while expressing conviction in your analyses. You are self-motivated, team-oriented, and highly collaborative, committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in your work.

What you'll do

As a Credit Analyst at Point72, you will report to a Portfolio Manager based in West Palm Beach and focus on rigorous fundamental credit research to identify attractive long/short investment opportunities. Your responsibilities will include analyzing businesses and capital structures across distressed, high yield, and high-grade credit markets. You will develop credit opinions while collaborating with the Portfolio Manager and other analysts, synthesizing market information to create thematic trade ideas across sectors. Additionally, you will monitor existing positions, keeping track of news flow and fundamental developments that may impact your analyses.
