What you'll do
As a Program Officer, you will oversee critical aspects of the Foundation's grantmaking portfolio, working closely with the Chief Program Officer, Executive Director, and Foundation's President. You will manage a portfolio of grants focused on health research, human services, hunger relief, and workforce development. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the proposal review process, engaging with potential and existing grantees, and ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the grant lifecycle.
You will conduct site visits to assess the impact of funded projects and provide guidance to grantees on best practices. Your role will involve evaluating proposals, conducting due diligence, and making recommendations for funding based on the Foundation's priorities. You will also collaborate with the Community Matters team to strengthen collective efforts and enhance the effectiveness of the Foundation's initiatives.
