Job Description
Who you are
You have 3-10 years of experience in mid-frequency trading, demonstrating a deep understanding of portfolio optimization techniques such as mean-variance optimization and risk budgeting. Your expertise includes transaction cost models and factor-neutral or dollar-neutral construction, allowing you to maintain alpha decay discipline effectively.
You possess a strong intuition for portfolio-level risks, including exposure to style and factor risks like momentum and value, as well as sector and macro risks. Your knowledge extends to real-time risk monitoring, drawdown control, and stop-loss frameworks, enabling you to conduct thorough scenario analysis and stress testing.
Your background includes a solid grasp of data engineering and research infrastructure, allowing you to collaborate effectively with quant researchers and developers. You are committed to the highest ethical standards in your work, ensuring integrity in all aspects of your research.
Desirable
Experience with advanced quantitative techniques and familiarity with machine learning applications in finance would be a plus. A strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly will set you apart.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct alpha, risk, and transaction cost research, monitoring portfolio performance to identify opportunities for alpha research and risk control. You will collaborate with engineers to build portfolio simulation and analysis tools, enhancing the overall research capabilities of the team.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing and researching transaction costs and market impact, as well as building consolidated forecasts from individual signals. You will play a key role in optimizing portfolios and implementing quantitative risk control measures.
You will also be expected to stay updated on market trends and developments, ensuring that your research is relevant and impactful. Your insights will contribute to the strategic direction of the portfolio management team, helping to drive performance and achieve investment objectives.
