Who you are

You have a strong background in security engineering, particularly in DevSecOps, with experience in designing and implementing security systems that meet compliance requirements. You understand the complexities of a distributed Kubernetes environment and have a proactive approach to addressing security challenges. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Research, allows you to effectively integrate security practices into the development lifecycle.

You are familiar with industry standards and best practices for security, and you have a keen eye for identifying potential vulnerabilities in software products. Your experience in working with cloud environments and hybrid architectures equips you to handle diverse security landscapes. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to assess risks and implement appropriate security measures.

What you'll do

As a Security Engineer at Q-CTRL, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems that align with the company's security objectives. You will work closely with the Infrastructure team to ensure that security is integrated into the development process from the ground up. Your role will involve conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions to mitigate risks.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement security best practices in a rapidly evolving platform that includes on-premise and hybrid architectures. Your expertise in Kubernetes will be crucial as you help secure the growing list of products in a distributed environment. You will also stay updated on the latest security trends and compliance requirements to ensure that Q-CTRL meets industry standards.
