Who you are
You are a Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in web application development and a passion for solving real-time user problems. You have experience in designing, creating, and maintaining software solutions that meet business requirements, particularly in the financial sector. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Quant, Infrastructure, Compliance, and Operations, sets you apart. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to learn new technologies to enhance your skill set.
You possess a solid understanding of core web application development, scripting, and data manipulation. Your technical expertise includes proficiency in languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python, as well as familiarity with AWS services. You are comfortable working in a high-paced environment and can manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Your strong analytical skills enable you to interpret data effectively and improve existing tools for trade monitoring systems.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions that address user needs within the trading teams. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to identify problems and propose effective solutions, arguing for the best approach based on your technical knowledge. Your responsibilities will include the full software development lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment and post-deployment monitoring.
You will work on innovative ideas to enhance the user experience of internal systems and applications, ensuring they are robust and resilient. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of trading operations, as you design and maintain software that supports critical business functions. You will also be involved in improving existing tools and systems, making trade monitoring more effective and user-friendly.
