Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in regulatory compliance and licensing, particularly in the fintech or payments sector. Your background includes a deep understanding of Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs) and other relevant international licenses. You are adept at navigating complex regulatory environments and have a proven track record of successfully obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses. You possess strong analytical skills and can develop strategic approaches to licensing that align with business goals. You are a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
As the Head of Licensing, you will be responsible for shaping and executing Rain's licensing strategy across various jurisdictions. You will lead the efforts to obtain and maintain Money Transmitter Licenses in the U.S. and other necessary licenses internationally, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will work closely with legal and compliance teams to develop processes that support the company's expansion into new markets. Your role will involve continuous monitoring of regulatory changes and adapting strategies accordingly to mitigate risks. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure that licensing considerations are integrated into the company's overall business strategy.
