Overview
Replit is hiring a Data Scientist for their Marketing team to turn user behavior into actionable insights that optimize marketing efforts. You'll work with SQL and Google Analytics to develop predictive models and attribution strategies. This position requires experience in data analysis and marketing metrics.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in data science with a focus on marketing analytics — you've designed and analyzed marketing experiments that optimize campaigns and improve conversion funnels. Your expertise in SQL and data visualization tools allows you to create self-service dashboards that surface key marketing metrics for go-to-market teams.
You are skilled in building attribution models and multi-touch conversion funnels — you understand the customer journey from first touch to paid conversion and can translate complex data into clear recommendations for marketing strategies. Your experience with predictive modeling helps identify high-intent prospects and optimize lead scoring for paid acquisition campaigns.
You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering with marketing, growth, and revenue teams to translate business questions into rigorous analysis — your strong communication skills enable you to present findings effectively to stakeholders. You are passionate about using data to drive sustainable revenue growth and improve marketing performance.
Desirable
Experience with marketing automation tools and platforms is a plus — familiarity with tools like HubSpot or Marketo can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in machine learning or advanced statistical methods would also be beneficial in developing more sophisticated models.
What you'll do
In this role, you will directly impact Replit's growth by analyzing user behavior and optimizing marketing efforts — you'll design and analyze experiments across various channels including email, paid ads, social media, and content marketing. Your work will involve building and maintaining data pipelines that integrate marketing platforms, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analysis.
You will develop predictive models to identify high-intent prospects and improve targeting for paid acquisition campaigns — your insights will help refine marketing strategies and enhance conversion rates. Additionally, you will create automated reporting systems that provide key marketing metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into actionable insights — your ability to communicate complex data findings will be essential in driving data-informed decisions. You will also contribute to the overall mission of Replit by making programming more accessible and collaborative through data-driven marketing strategies.
What we offer

We offer a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work in the office on specific days while also enjoying the flexibility of remote work. Our team is dedicated to personal and professional growth, providing opportunities for continuous learning and development in the field of data science and marketing analytics.
