You have extensive experience in product design, particularly in managing and evolving design systems — you've successfully led design initiatives that balance consistency and flexibility across various platforms. Your background includes working closely with cross-functional teams, including product designers and engineers, to create user-centered designs that enhance product usability.

You are proficient in design tools such as Figma and have a strong understanding of design principles and governance — your ability to define and evolve core components and interaction standards is a key asset. You thrive in environments where you can influence product direction and contribute to high-quality product development.

What you'll do

As the Staff Product Designer for the Design System, you will own the vision and strategy for Replit’s design system — this includes defining core components, patterns, and tokens that will be used across the product. You will ensure that the design system supports a wide range of surfaces, from core product UI to enterprise templates, enabling fast and high-quality product development.

You will collaborate with product designers and engineers to ensure the design system scales effectively and meets the needs of both internal teams and external enterprise users. Your role will involve leading the roadmap for the design system, making critical decisions about its evolution, and ensuring that it remains aligned with Replit's mission of democratizing software development.
