You have a strong technical background in security operations, with experience in monitoring and assessing emerging threats — you understand the nuances of cloud-native infrastructure and have a keen eye for identifying vulnerabilities. You are familiar with tools like Wireshark and Burp Suite, which you use to analyze signals and conduct investigations effectively.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Security, SRE, and Engineering teams to develop and implement effective containment and mitigation strategies — your ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a key asset. You are proactive in your approach, continuously seeking to improve security measures and respond to incidents swiftly.

What you'll do

As a SOC Engineer at Replit, you will continuously monitor for emerging threats, including 0-day vulnerabilities and public exploitation campaigns — your rapid assessment of these threats will be crucial in determining their relevance to Replit’s cloud infrastructure. You will conduct targeted investigations to analyze the impact of security issues reported by customers and bug bounty findings, ensuring that the platform remains secure and resilient.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive security initiatives, leveraging your understanding of CI/CD systems to enhance security practices throughout the development lifecycle. Your hands-on investigative skills will be essential in responding to incidents and developing strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
