Overview

Revance is hiring a Manager, Corporate Accounting to oversee key accounting functions including intercompany accounting and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in corporate accounting processes.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in corporate accounting with experience managing complex accounting processes. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP. You are detail-oriented and thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams including FP&A, HR, and operations. You have a proven track record of owning and managing components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Your experience includes managing intercompany transactions and eliminations, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.

Desirable

Experience with bonus and compensation accruals is a plus, as you will be responsible for calculating and recording these based on input from HR and FP&A. You are comfortable resolving discrepancies and aligning compensation-related accounts with payroll and performance metrics. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders will be essential in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and manage components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. You will prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and reclasses, while also preparing balance sheet account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. Managing intercompany transactions between domestic and international entities will be a key responsibility, ensuring proper documentation, reconciliation, and settlement. You will perform intercompany eliminations and related consolidation entries to maintain accurate corporate-level financial reporting. Additionally, you will calculate and record monthly and quarterly bonus accruals based on input from HR and FP&A, reconciling compensation-related accounts to ensure alignment with payroll and performance metrics.
