Who you are
You have extensive experience in corporate accounting, particularly in managing the financial close process under US GAAP. Your background includes leading teams and driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You are adept at collaborating cross-functionally with various stakeholders, including FP&A, Revenue Ops, and external auditors. You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and automate accounting processes, making you a key player in enhancing operational efficiency.
You are a mentor at heart, eager to develop your team of accounting professionals and guide them through complex accounting issues. Your leadership style fosters a collaborative environment where team members feel empowered to contribute their ideas and solutions. You understand the importance of compliance with SOX/internal controls and have experience liaising with auditors to ensure high-quality deliverables.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Global Accounting Close, overseeing the end-to-end process while addressing any accounting issues that arise. You will identify opportunities for innovation and automation within the accounting processes, ensuring they are sustainable and scalable. Your responsibilities will include mentoring and developing your team, as well as collaborating closely with stakeholders to implement creative solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You will also serve as the key liaison with external and internal auditors, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards.
