Overview

RioCan is hiring a Building Operator to manage the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the Yonge Sheppard Centre. This role ensures a clean and safe environment for tenants, customers, contractors, and employees.

You are a proactive individual with a strong sense of responsibility for maintaining a clean and safe environment. You understand the importance of operational efficiency and are committed to ensuring that all aspects of the building are well-maintained. You thrive in a team-oriented environment and are available for on-call emergencies, demonstrating your dedication to the role. Your ability to communicate effectively with tenants and contractors is essential in this position, as you will be the point of contact for any maintenance issues that arise.

What you'll do

As a Building Operator at RioCan, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of the Yonge Sheppard Centre. This includes overseeing cleaning schedules, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and addressing any maintenance requests from tenants or contractors. You will work closely with various teams to coordinate repairs and improvements, ensuring that the building remains a welcoming space for all visitors. Your role will also involve monitoring building systems and reporting any issues to management, contributing to the overall operational success of the centre.
