You have a strong background in pharmacy operations and quality control, with experience in overseeing quality assurance processes in a compounding pharmacy setting. What you'll do
As the Lead Quality Control Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing all quality control activities at our 503a compounding pharmacy. This includes conducting thorough record reviews, testing raw materials upon receipt, and ensuring that all compounded products are handled according to established SOPs. You will perform product sampling and testing, manage lot release processes, and monitor environmental conditions to ensure compliance with quality standards. Your role will involve close collaboration with pharmacy operations to maintain a high level of quality and compliance throughout the pharmacy. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff in quality control practices, fostering a culture of quality within the team. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our compounding processes and ensuring that we continue to meet the needs of our patients effectively.
