You have a proven track record of leading engineering teams, with at least 5 years of experience in software engineering and a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure. You are a bold thinker and a sharp problem-solver, ready to tackle the biggest financial challenges with innovative solutions. Your experience includes working with AWS and understanding FinOps principles, ensuring that cloud resources are utilized efficiently and costs are managed effectively.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with Data Science, Technical Program Management, Infrastructure, and Product teams. You are passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of ethics and accountability. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are driven by the desire to make a significant impact in the finance sector.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for Capacity and Efficiency Engineering, you will lead a team responsible for developing software that governs and forecasts Robinhood's AWS cloud spend. You will guide the technical direction of the team, ensuring that cloud resources are used efficiently and that costs are attributable to the right owners. Your role will involve collaborating closely with various teams to address inefficiencies early and maintain executive visibility on company-level cost metrics.

You will be responsible for mentoring and developing your team members, conducting regular one-on-ones, and fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. You will also play a key role in strategic planning and execution, ensuring that your team's work aligns with the company's mission to democratize finance for all. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the team's success and achieving operational excellence.
