You possess deep knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements — you understand how to balance risk management with operational efficiency, ensuring that security measures do not hinder business processes. Your experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes equips you to secure modern application environments effectively.

Your proficiency in programming languages, especially Python, enables you to automate security processes and develop custom security tools — you are comfortable writing scripts to enhance security monitoring and incident response capabilities. You have a solid understanding of Linux systems, which is crucial for managing security in diverse environments.

What you'll do

As the Principal Enterprise Security Engineer at Roblox, you will lead the design and governance of security solutions that safeguard the company's corporate infrastructure — your role will involve shaping and evolving security architecture to align with business objectives while ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with the Corporate Engineering and Trust & Safety teams to develop security capabilities that balance risk and productivity.

You will be responsible for conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies — your expertise will guide the implementation of security controls that protect sensitive data and maintain the integrity of systems. You will also oversee the deployment of security tools and technologies, ensuring they are effectively integrated into the existing infrastructure.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with various teams to ensure that security considerations are embedded in the development lifecycle — you will provide guidance on secure coding practices and assist in the implementation of security measures throughout the software development process.
