You have 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing, with a strong focus on building scalable testing frameworks. Your expertise in Python allows you to develop advanced automated test suites that ensure software quality across various platforms. You are familiar with Linux environments and understand the intricacies of testing services that run on them. Your experience with CI/CD tools enables you to implement efficient testing processes that integrate seamlessly into the development lifecycle.

You possess a solid understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies, which you leverage to enhance collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders. As a technical leader, you are comfortable guiding teams in adopting best practices for testing and quality assurance. You are proactive in identifying potential quality issues and implementing solutions that improve the overall software development process.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and scaling quality efforts within the New Product Introduction (NPI) team at Roku. You will develop and maintain automated test suites that cover the end-to-end functionality of our software ecosystem. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our Linux-based services and applications are resilient and performant. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to drive 'shift-left' testing methodologies, ensuring that quality is built into the development process from the start.

You will act as a mentor to junior QA engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of the products we deliver to millions of users worldwide. You will also leverage AI and modern CI/CD tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that our testing infrastructure keeps pace with the rapid development cycles of our software.
