Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in project and program management, with at least 3 years specifically leading or building a PMO. Your credentials include certifications such as PMI-PMOCP, PMP, or PRINCE2, which demonstrate your commitment to project management excellence. You possess deep expertise in various project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, and can adapt to a pragmatic hybrid approach as needed. Your strong leadership skills enable you to mentor project managers and team leads, helping them elevate their delivery capabilities.

You are adept at establishing and refining project management standards, ensuring that every project aligns with the strategic goals of the organization. Your ability to maintain a bird’s-eye view of all active and pending projects allows you to identify bottlenecks before they escalate into significant issues. You excel in resource management, optimizing allocation to prevent burnout while ensuring that no project is left unattended.

What you'll do

As the PMO Manager at Rubrik, you will bridge the gap between high-level executive vision and the boots-on-the-ground project delivery. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every project we green-light is aligned with our strategic goals and delivered on time. You will work closely with senior leadership to prioritize the project pipeline, making critical decisions about which projects to pursue and which to defer. Your role will involve developing high-level dashboards for the C-suite that provide transparency about project health, budgets, and ROI.

You will also be responsible for coaching project managers and team leads on best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO. Your strategic oversight will help maintain a clear focus on delivering value through every project, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in shaping the project management landscape at Rubrik, driving initiatives that enhance our execution capabilities and align with our broader business objectives.
