Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in engineering management, particularly in production engineering or site reliability engineering. You possess strong technical depth in cloud environments and have a proven track record of leading teams to maintain high availability and reliability of critical services. Your decision-making skills are top-notch, and you thrive in high-pressure situations, guiding your team through incidents with confidence.
You are well-versed in operational excellence practices and have experience establishing processes and standards that enhance system reliability. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including SRE and engineering, to proactively identify risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You understand the importance of observability and incident response in maintaining operational maturity.
Desirable
Experience with multi-cloud environments is a plus, as is familiarity with incident management tools and practices. You may also have certifications in cloud technologies or operational excellence methodologies, which would further enhance your candidacy.
What you'll do
As the Senior Engineering Manager for Production Engineering, you will lead a team dedicated to ensuring the availability and reliability of mission-critical platforms. You will spearhead the technical roadmap and strategy, guiding your team through the complexities of maintaining services across large-scale, multi-cloud environments.
