What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Salient, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing features across both the frontend and backend layers of our AI platform. You will work on the 0→1 MVP development and the 1→10 growth phases of our product, focusing on automating loan servicing workflows. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code with appropriate test coverage, and you will be expected to optimize application performance continuously.

You will collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define and implement features that improve customer experiences and streamline operations. Your contributions will directly impact how lenders serve their customers, enhancing compliance and reducing risk in the loan servicing process. You will also participate in sprints and major launches, working in an in-person office culture in San Francisco, where collaboration and quick iterations are key to success.
