You have a proven track record of designing and implementing world-class EHS programs that meet rigorous safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Your experience includes exposure to AI-enabled technologies, robotics, or autonomous vehicles, which positions you uniquely to lead Saronic's EHS initiatives as they integrate advanced technologies into their maritime solutions. You possess strong leadership skills and have successfully scaled EHS organizations in previous roles, demonstrating your ability to manage teams effectively and foster a culture of safety and compliance. You are a strategic thinker who can align EHS objectives with broader business goals, driving continuous improvement and innovation in safety practices.
Desirable
Experience in maritime operations or defense contracting is highly desirable, as is familiarity with ASTM 2920-24 standards for environmental sustainability in defense systems. You are a proactive communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline employees to executive leadership, ensuring that safety remains a top priority across the organization.
What you'll do

Your primary responsibility will be to establish a comprehensive EHS management system that aligns with the company's strategic objectives as it expands into international markets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of operations, from product development to manufacturing processes.
You will be responsible for achieving key certifications, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This will involve conducting thorough risk assessments, developing safety protocols, and implementing training programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
