What you'll do

As an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer at SpaceX, you will lead safety reviews of complex hazardous operations, ensuring safe execution of all activities. You will assist in incident investigations, performing root cause analysis and developing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Your role will involve collaborating with department leadership to implement health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

You will develop and maintain safety programs that align with OSHA general industry and construction standards, including HAZCOM and hazmat protocols. Your expertise will be crucial in training team members on safety practices and ensuring that all safety measures are adhered to during operations. You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of safety within the organization, encouraging team members to prioritize health and safety in their daily activities.
