Who you are
You have a strong background in configuration management with a focus on CAD administration — your experience includes managing product data control and ensuring the integrity of engineering data packages. You are proficient in using tools like NX and SolidWorks, and you understand the importance of maintaining accurate CAD data across design tools. Your hands-on approach allows you to effectively support drawing and change processes while collaborating closely with mechanical engineering and program teams.
You are familiar with PDM workflows and have experience customizing user experiences in systems like Teamcenter Active Workspace — your attention to detail ensures that product definitions align with standards and customer requirements. You thrive in environments where you can interface with compliance configuration managers and contribute to the technical integrity of projects. Your ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams makes you an asset in maintaining CAD governance and enhancing PDM/PLM processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily PDM workflows and ensuring that CAD data is accurate and clean across design tools. You will support drawing and change processes, delivering complete and reliable engineering data packages into manufacturing and sustainment. You will work closely with mechanical engineering, sustainment, and program teams to maintain technical integrity in Teamcenter, ensuring that product definitions align with standards and customer requirements.
You will also be involved in customizing and managing the user experience in systems like Teamcenter Active Workspace, enhancing the overall efficiency of PDM/PLM processes. Your hands-on approach will allow you to effectively manage drawing control and CAD governance, ensuring that all engineering data is maintained to the highest standards. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that all aspects of configuration management are executed flawlessly, contributing to the success of Saronic's innovative projects in defense autonomy.
