Who you are

You have a solid background in CAD engineering with experience in physical design verification flows — your attention to detail ensures that every aspect of the design process is meticulously crafted. You understand the importance of collaboration, working closely with custom digital, analog, and mixed-signal design teams to facilitate the chip design process. Your expertise in developing rule decks from scratch or modifying existing ones is complemented by your knowledge of design rule checks (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) runsets.

You are comfortable with coding and have experience in Python, which you use to automate processes and improve workflows. Your familiarity with machine learning and large language models (LLM) is a plus, as you seek to innovate and enhance verification methodologies. You thrive in a team environment and are eager to contribute to the development of high-performance, power-efficient processors that power Apple’s devices.

What you'll do

As a CAD Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for architecting and developing physical design verification flows that are crucial for the manufacturing of next-generation processors.
