Overview

Scan.com is hiring a Mid QA Engineer to own end-to-end testing for their multi-platform ecosystem. You'll design and maintain comprehensive test scripts and advocate for quality across teams. This role requires collaboration with local engineering teams in NYC or Dallas.

Who you are

You have a solid background in quality assurance, with experience in end-to-end testing across various platforms. You understand the importance of comprehensive test planning and validation processes, ensuring that products meet high-quality standards before reaching users. You are a quality advocate, capable of representing testing needs in discussions with product, engineering, and operations teams. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable working with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality.

You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to identify edge cases and potential issues in software applications. You have experience designing, building, and maintaining test scripts and cases that cover functional and regression scenarios. You are proactive in establishing and evolving testing processes and best practices that can scale with a growing engineering team. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end testing process for features across Scan.com's multi-platform ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining comprehensive test scripts, test cases, and test suites that cover functional, regression, and edge-case scenarios. You will establish and evolve testing processes, standards, and best practices that scale with our growing engineering team. You will serve as a quality advocate across product, engineering, and operations teams, representing testing needs in sprint planning and architectural discussions. You will conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues and ensure that the user experience is seamless and intuitive.

You will collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure that quality is integrated into the development process from the outset. You will participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing strategies and methodologies. You will also work with product managers to understand user requirements and ensure that testing aligns with business goals. Your contributions will help improve healthcare outcomes for patients by ensuring that our technology delivers reliable and efficient diagnostics.
