You have a strong background in engineering management, with experience leading teams in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering. You understand the importance of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, and you have a proven track record of improving efficiency and delivery speed within engineering teams. You are comfortable embracing modern tools and practices, including AI-assisted workflows, to enhance team performance. Your ability to mentor and grow your team is complemented by your strong communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with product engineering teams and other stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus, as is familiarity with infrastructure as code practices. You may also have a background in software development, which helps you understand the technical challenges your team faces.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Platform Engineering team, you will lead and mentor a talented group of DevOps and SRE professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to bring structure and clarity to planning and execution, ensuring that your team can deliver high-quality results efficiently. You will work closely with product engineering teams to align on goals and priorities, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation.

You will be responsible for overseeing the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline ecosystem that supports the entire engineering organization. This includes identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance delivery speed and efficiency. You will also have the opportunity to take on additional engineering initiatives or teams as Scandit continues to grow.

Your role will involve regular one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss their progress, provide feedback, and support their professional development. You will also participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between engineering and product teams, helping to drive the overall success of Scandit's initiatives.
