Who you are
You have a strong background in security engineering, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining automated security controls across cloud environments like AWS. You enjoy simplifying complex security processes and have a knack for integrating security into development workflows seamlessly. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with engineering teams and external partners, ensuring that security is a shared responsibility.
You are familiar with CI/CD practices and understand how to embed security into these pipelines. Your experience includes working with various security tools and frameworks, and you are always looking for ways to improve and automate security measures. You have a proactive mindset, anticipating potential security challenges and addressing them before they become issues.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security controls that protect Seesaw's infrastructure and applications. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that security practices are integrated into the development lifecycle. Your day-to-day tasks will include building automated security solutions, conducting security assessments, and working with external bug bounty participants to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
You will also play a key role in educating teams about security best practices, helping them understand the importance of security in their workflows. By embedding security into the culture of the organization, you will help Seesaw maintain its commitment to providing a safe and secure learning platform for educators and students alike.
