Your experience includes ensuring local tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions — you are familiar with the accounting standards and regulations in Poland, Romania, and Turkey, and you know how to navigate the complexities of international finance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and oversee GL Accounting operations for the East Region, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant month-end and year-end closings. You will manage a team of GL accountants, supporting their performance and fostering a collaborative environment. Your contributions will be crucial in the centralization and harmonization of accounting processes as part of the group's transformation roadmap.

You will act as the main accounting contact for the East Region, coordinating activities across relevant finance workstreams such as FP&A, AP/AR, Treasury, and Tax. Ensuring compliance with IFRS and applicable local GAAPs will be a key responsibility, as well as maintaining internal accounting criteria.

You will collaborate closely with other global finance teams to drive consistency and efficiency in accounting practices. Your role will involve regular communication with internal teams and external advisors to ensure local tax compliance and address any accounting-related inquiries.
