You have a proven track record in customer success management, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment — your experience has equipped you with the skills to build strong relationships with clients and ensure their success with the product. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are excited about the opportunity to shape the customer journey from the ground up.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders — your ability to listen and understand customer needs is key to your success in this role. You are data-driven and can leverage insights to improve customer engagement and satisfaction.
You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Sales — your collaborative spirit helps you drive initiatives that enhance the customer experience. You are adaptable and can pivot quickly as the company grows and evolves.
Desirable
Experience in a startup environment is a plus, as you understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with rapid growth — familiarity with AI-powered platforms or revenue management systems would be advantageous. A background in finance or technology can help you relate better to our clients' needs.
What you'll do
As the Founding Customer Success Manager at Sequence, you will be the driving force behind our customer onboarding process — you will develop and execute strategies that ensure our clients are set up for success from day one. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to refine our onboarding playbook, ensuring it meets the needs of our diverse customer base.
You will be responsible for building strong relationships with our most important external partners, acting as their primary point of contact and advocate within Sequence — your role will involve understanding their unique challenges and working collaboratively to address them. You will gather feedback from customers and relay it to the product team to inform future enhancements.
You will help scale our customer success initiatives, implementing best practices and processes that foster customer loyalty and satisfaction — your insights will be crucial in shaping the direction of our customer success strategy as we grow. You will also conduct training sessions and workshops to empower customers to maximize the value they get from our platform.
