Sequence is hiring an Onboarding Manager to lead the customer onboarding journey and develop global strategies for external partners. Who you are
You have a proven track record in managing customer onboarding processes — you've successfully led teams in developing and executing strategies that enhance customer experiences and drive satisfaction. Your experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, has equipped you with the skills to build effective onboarding playbooks from the ground up.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable with the challenges of scaling operations — your ability to adapt and innovate has been key to your success in previous roles. You understand the importance of customer feedback and use it to continuously improve onboarding processes, ensuring that customers feel supported and valued from day one.
Your strong communication skills allow you to engage effectively with both internal teams and external partners — you can articulate complex ideas clearly and foster collaboration across departments. You are passionate about creating a seamless onboarding experience that sets customers up for success.
Desirable
Experience in the finance or SaaS industry is a plus, as it gives you insight into the unique challenges faced by modern finance teams. Familiarity with AI-powered platforms or revenue cycle management can enhance your ability to contribute to Sequence's mission.
What you'll do
As the Onboarding Manager at Sequence, you will be the driving force behind our customer onboarding journey — your role will involve developing and implementing strategies that ensure a smooth transition for customers as they adopt our platform. You will work closely with Product, GTM, and Engineering teams to create a comprehensive onboarding playbook that reflects best practices and aligns with customer needs.
You will manage the onboarding process for our most important external partners, ensuring that they receive the support and resources necessary to maximize their use of our platform. Your responsibilities will include training and guiding customers through the implementation process, addressing any challenges they may face, and gathering feedback to refine our approach.
In addition to managing the onboarding process, you will play a key role in scaling our implementation function — this will involve identifying opportunities for improvement, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with various teams to enhance the overall customer experience. You will also be responsible for tracking onboarding metrics and reporting on progress to ensure that we meet our goals.
