Who you are
You have a strong background in program management, particularly in hardware development, with experience in managing supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement. Your technical expertise in audio systems allows you to effectively collaborate with design and algorithm teams to define system architecture. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to coordinate complex projects and ensure alignment across teams.
You are adept at organizing and scheduling development work, ensuring that all aspects of audio systems prototyping and integration are executed smoothly. Your experience in new product introduction (NPI) processes equips you to lead technical and operational readiness for audio suppliers, from early engineering prototypes through to mass production. You understand the importance of empirical testing and are committed to delivering high-quality audio solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the schedule for audio systems and component prototyping, ensuring timely approvals for product integration. You will manage the entire audio supplier lifecycle, from identification and qualification to maintaining technical relationships and driving improvements. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding the technical and operational readiness of audio suppliers, overseeing the transition from prototypes to mass production.
You will collaborate closely with Sesame's internal audio, design, and algorithm teams to define and refine system architecture, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any challenges that arise during development. You will also be responsible for conducting research into early-stage technologies that can enhance Sesame's audio systems, contributing to the company's vision of creating lifelike computers.
