Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in data engineering, with expertise in architecting and developing scalable data pipelines on the Cloud. Your experience includes implementing ETL/ELT solutions using dbt, ensuring data is structured, intelligible, and reliable through rigorous testing and documentation.
You are skilled in orchestrating complex data workflows using Apache Airflow, managing dependencies, and ensuring error recovery. Your proactive approach to data quality includes setting up monitoring and alerting systems to maintain data health.
You are familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and have experience deploying data infrastructure using Terraform. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to share best practices with client teams, promoting DevOps methodologies.
Desirable
Experience with open-source technologies and a strong understanding of cloud platforms will be advantageous. Familiarity with data governance and lineage tracking is a plus.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines that can handle large volumes of data. You will work closely with a community of experts to innovate and evolve data practices within the organization.
Your daily tasks will include architecting data solutions for performance, transforming data using dbt, and orchestrating workflows with Apache Airflow. You will also ensure the health of data through proactive monitoring and alerting systems.
