What you'll do
As a Customer Service Associate at Shift4, you will be the first point of contact for merchants seeking assistance with payment processing, billing, hardware, and software inquiries. You will answer and resolve customer inquiries through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems. Your role will involve walking merchants through troubleshooting steps for credit card terminals and POS systems, ensuring they receive the support they need to operate smoothly.
You will diagnose technical issues and escalate complex cases to higher-tier teams when necessary, maintaining a clear line of communication with customers throughout the process. Your responsibilities will also include documenting cases and following up to ensure full resolution, contributing to a seamless customer experience.
