Shopmonkey is hiring a Customer Account Manager to lead customer expansion initiatives in the SMB segment. You'll build relationships with customers and drive additional sales through cross-selling. This role requires 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in technology.

Who you are
You have 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in a technology company, with a proven track record of building relationships and expanding customer accounts. You understand the importance of customer engagement and are skilled at identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services. Your ability to empathize with customers allows you to understand their needs and challenges, enabling you to recommend tailored solutions that drive their success.
You are comfortable using CRM tools and have experience managing sales pipelines effectively. Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner. You are proactive in learning about the full product suite and the automotive industry, ensuring you can provide valuable insights to customers.
What you'll do
As a Customer Account Manager at Shopmonkey, you will lead customer expansion initiatives within the SMB segment. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality opportunities, ensuring that you effectively showcase the impact Shopmonkey can have on customers' businesses. You will define and execute new sales strategies that drive deeper adoption of our software, helping customers to maximize their investment.
You will communicate accurate and realistic forecast information to the management team, ensuring that our CRM and payments processing platform are utilized effectively. Your role will involve learning tried and true SaaS sales strategies, as well as understanding the customer journey to identify areas for improvement. You will work closely with customers to recommend solutions that help them grow their business, fostering long-term relationships that contribute to Shopmonkey's success.
