Who you are
You have a strong background in cloud infrastructure and automation, with a focus on building reliable and scalable platforms. Your experience includes designing and optimizing cloud services that support production workloads, ensuring that engineering teams can operate safely and efficiently at scale. You are proficient in AWS and have a solid understanding of cloud security best practices, access control, and compliance. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product and engineering teams to support production systems and mentor others in the field.
You are skilled in using Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly AWS CDK, to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. Your proactive approach to monitoring, alerting, and logging allows you to spot issues before they impact users, and you are committed to evolving the platform to meet the needs of the organization. You take pride in creating clear and practical documentation that engineers find useful, ensuring that best practices are shared and followed across teams.
What you'll do
In this role, you will architect and engineer robust, cost-efficient, and high-performing cloud infrastructure and platform services on AWS. You will design and optimize platform components that connect services and support production workloads, enabling teams to operate safely at scale. Your responsibilities will include automating everything through Infrastructure as Code, setting up best-in-class monitoring and alerting systems, and championing best practices in cloud security and compliance. You will also take technical ownership of initiatives, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to support production systems and mentor junior engineers.
