Job Description
Who you are
You have at least 1 year of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) in the software industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of sales processes and techniques. Your business acumen allows you to quickly become an expert on database management systems (DBMS) within your first 90 days, enabling you to effectively communicate the value of SingleStore's offerings. You are a proven communicator, both written and spoken, and are comfortable reaching out cold to executive-level and technical prospects. Your entrepreneurial spirit drives you to be self-motivated and organized, allowing you to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are eager to build a career in sales or other areas of enterprise software, and you possess the ability to partner with and support co-workers and customers across different time zones.
What you'll do
In this role, you will generate a qualified sales pipeline for SingleStore's targeted accounts, which include companies with annual revenues between $100M and $1BN. You will actively prospect using phone, email, and social media, maintaining a balanced approach between outbound and inbound efforts. You will partner with up to four Account Executives on account plans and prospecting strategies, ensuring alignment and open communication with your team. Your responsibilities will include identifying key account stakeholders to generate opportunities for SingleStore, consistently achieving or exceeding your monthly quota of qualified opportunities and meaningful interactions with new prospects. You will quickly gain a strong understanding of the SingleStore value proposition and the database industry landscape, leveraging this knowledge to effectively engage with potential clients.
