Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, particularly with microcontrollers and real-time operating systems. Your expertise includes writing bare metal code and working with embedded Linux, which allows you to create reliable firmware for complex systems. You are comfortable collaborating with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration between software and hardware components.
Your background includes proficiency in C and C++, enabling you to design and implement efficient and robust software solutions. You have experience with the stm32 product line and are familiar with integrating software for Qualcomm and Nvidia SOCs. Your understanding of Linux kernels and the ability to maintain them is a key asset in your role.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and can provide technical direction for complex systems. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams ensures that you can bridge the gap between algorithms and mechanical hardware, making you a vital part of the development process.
Desirable
Experience with autonomous systems or drones is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning as they relate to embedded systems. You are eager to stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve your skills.
What you'll do
