Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, particularly with bare metal and RTOS microcontroller code. Your expertise includes working with the stm32 product line and integrating software for embedded Linux and Android platforms. You are comfortable maintaining Linux kernels and have a strong understanding of hardware-software integration, which allows you to collaborate effectively with hardware teams.
You possess deep knowledge of C and C++ programming languages, and you have experience with various embedded systems. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges in autonomous flight technology, and you are passionate about creating reliable firmware that acts as the brain of autonomous drones.
What you'll do
As a Senior Embedded Engineer at Skydio, you will lead the development of embedded software that powers our autonomous drones. You will provide technical direction and architecture for complex systems, ensuring that the software integrates seamlessly with sensors and mechanical hardware. Your role will involve designing and implementing robust embedded software solutions that meet the demands of our growing product line.
