You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on frontend development, particularly in creating real-time applications. You possess deep expertise in JavaScript and frameworks like React, and you are familiar with WebGL for rendering 3D graphics. You are committed to upholding engineering standards for security, performance, scalability, and reliability, and you enjoy mentoring engineers to foster a strong technical culture.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development of applications such as the Remote Flight Deck for drone operations and DFR Command for tactical coordination. You will be responsible for driving UX innovation and ensuring that the applications you build deliver mission-critical video, telemetry, and control to users in the field. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of drone pilots and first responders, making your work vital to their success.
You will participate in a low-friction on-call rotation, ensuring that the platform remains stable and reliable. Your role will also involve collaborating closely with product managers and designers to translate user needs into impactful features. As a key contributor, you will help shape the future of Drones as First Responders, making a significant difference in various operational scenarios.
