Skydio is hiring a Senior Technical Curriculum Developer to create high-quality technical curricula for safety-critical certification programs. You'll collaborate with various teams to transform complex concepts into comprehensive educational materials. This role requires experience in defense, aerospace, or industrial OEM environments.
Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced curriculum developer with a strong background in defense, aerospace, or industrial OEM environments. You thrive in fast-paced settings and are passionate about creating educational experiences that equip trainees with the necessary technical skillsets for high-risk environments. You possess excellent collaboration skills, enabling you to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Field Services, Operations, Technical Writing, and Multimedia teams. Your self-directed nature allows you to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the development of high-quality technical curricula for Skydio's safety-critical, industrial-grade certification programming. You will conduct domain-driven research and data analysis to inform your curriculum development, ensuring that the materials meet the needs of field-based service providers and technical stakeholders. You will transform complex technical concepts into comprehensive curricula that include both educational and skills-based objectives. Your work will directly impact the training and effectiveness of technical support teams and service providers at customer sites.
