You have an advanced degree in Computer Science and over 7 years of engineering management experience, including managing managers. Your deep experience with LLM serving and AI infrastructure sets you apart, and you have at least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience at a staff level. You have a strong track record of recruiting and growing technical teams, and your leadership style fosters creativity and innovation while ensuring practical decision-making. You are passionate about mentoring talented senior technical leaders and driving accountability for plans and deliverables.

What you'll do

In this role at Snowflake, you will set the strategic vision for the Cortex LLM Platform team and drive the execution of engineering initiatives. You will manage engineering teams that develop high-performance and scalable services, integrating expertise in AI systems and data infrastructure. You will translate product requirements into engineering initiatives and coordinate cross-functionally with partner teams. Your leadership will evolve the organizational structure and improve engineering efficiency, ensuring that the team is aligned with Snowflake's AI strategy. You will also be responsible for fostering a culture of creativity and innovation, encouraging your team to challenge ordinary thinking and push the pace of innovation.
