Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of people management experience, leading teams of software and/or security engineers — you've successfully guided teams through complex projects while fostering a collaborative environment. Your deep technical background in software engineering, system design, and security architecture allows you to effectively mentor your team and drive innovation in security practices.

You are familiar with penetration testing and have experience in designing robust security architectures that adhere to the highest standards.
Your leadership style emphasizes collaboration and impact — you believe in the importance of building a culture that values innovation and continuous improvement. You are committed to reducing the risk of compromises by integrating security validations early in the software development lifecycle, ensuring that security is a fundamental aspect of product development.
Desirable
Experience with AI and large-scale cloud services is a plus, as is familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards. You are also encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as curiosity and a growth mindset are highly valued.
What you'll do

Your role will involve performing deep security engineering and assurance work on our products, designing robust security architectures that meet the highest standards.
Additionally, you will conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities within Snowflake's systems, working closely with your team to strengthen controls and reduce risks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security considerations are embedded in the software development lifecycle, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of product security at Snowflake — you will mentor and develop your team, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers. You will also play a key role in driving innovation within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and the exploration of new security technologies.
