Who you are
You have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in cloud computing or data platforms — you've successfully led product strategies and executed on complex projects that drive significant business impact. Your background includes a deep understanding of compute engines and their applications in data and AI, allowing you to make informed decisions that align with both technical and business goals.
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with data to inform your decisions — you can translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, ensuring that everyone is aligned and moving towards a common goal.
You are passionate about innovation and are always looking for ways to improve existing processes and products — you thrive in environments that challenge the status quo and encourage creative thinking. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences makes you a valuable asset in any discussion.
Desirable
Experience with AI applications or data engineering is a plus, as is familiarity with serverless computing and adaptive systems. You understand the importance of user feedback and are skilled at incorporating it into product development cycles.
What you'll do
As the Senior Product Manager for Snowflake's compute engine, you will lead the strategy and execution of the compute platform, overseeing a portfolio that includes foundational warehouses and high-performance compute clusters. You will be the primary driver behind innovative solutions like Adaptive Warehouses, which aim to enhance efficiency and scalability in cloud computing.
You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to define product requirements and ensure that the compute engine meets the needs of thousands of organizations globally. Your role will involve conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the compute space.
You will also be responsible for setting key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of the compute platform, ensuring that it aligns with Snowflake's overall business objectives. Regularly communicating progress and updates to stakeholders will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will mentoring junior product managers and fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
