Who you are
You have extensive experience in product design, particularly in the tech industry, and a strong portfolio showcasing your design work. You understand the nuances of user experience and have a passion for creating intuitive and engaging interfaces. Your ability to conduct foundational and strategic research allows you to uncover latent needs and opportunities in how developers interact with security tools. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with product, engineering, and marketing teams to drive the vision for innovative products.
You possess a deep understanding of design principles and methodologies, and you are proficient in using design tools like Figma to create high-fidelity prototypes. Your experience in leading design projects from concept to launch has equipped you with the skills to manage complex initiatives effectively. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and thrive in environments where you can shape the design narrative for new technologies, particularly in the AI space.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design strategy for Snyk's most ambitious new initiative, focusing on AI products. You will partner with leaders across the company to define and drive the vision for a new class of AI products, shaping the roadmap from concept to launch and beyond. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to inform design decisions, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility of your designs. You will also be responsible for defining the future of AI UX, uncovering latent needs and opportunities in how developers interact with security tools.
You will work closely with the Director of Technology Incubation and other stakeholders to launch a portfolio of brand-new products in the AI Security space. Your role will require you to balance user needs with business goals, ensuring that the products you design not only meet user expectations but also drive business success. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall design culture at Snyk, fostering an environment of creativity and innovation.
