What you'll do

As a Mortgage Loan Originator at SoFi, you will evaluate initial loan applications and documentation to confirm creditworthiness and ability to repay. You will complete an initial analysis of applicants’ credit and income, verifying decisions and communicating these to the applicants. You will also communicate critical origination timelines, product offerings, pricing, and underwriting requirements to all applicants. Your role will involve performing outbound calls to applicants and working with them to ensure the receipt of required documentation, which is critical to moving loans through the sales process to successful funding. You will communicate suspense, loan approvals, and declinations to applicants, ensuring they are informed throughout the process. Your focus will be on creating a seamless and positive experience for each customer, setting the standard for service in the mortgage industry.
