You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in enterprise account management, and you thrive in a hunter role where acquiring new clients is your primary focus. Your experience in the software industry, especially in security solutions, gives you a unique perspective on the challenges enterprises face in managing their software supply chains. You are results-driven and have a knack for building strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met while driving growth for your organization.
You understand the importance of software supply chain security and are passionate about helping organizations optimize their software development processes. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner allows you to connect with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership. You are comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a global sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business in Southern California, Nevada, and Utah, focusing on acquiring new logos and expanding Sonatype's client base. You will engage with potential clients to understand their software supply chain security needs and demonstrate how Sonatype's solutions can address their challenges. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts to close deals.
You will collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to align on messaging and ensure that the solutions you present resonate with the target audience. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support, which will help drive renewals and upsell opportunities.
Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed sales targets, and you will be expected to provide regular updates on your progress to the sales leadership team. You will also participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
