Overview

Sophos is hiring an Associate IT Operations Engineer to manage and improve incident management and service request processes. You'll work within the Global Service Desk Team to enhance IT support across the organization.

Who you are

You are an entry-level IT professional eager to start your career in IT operations. You have a foundational understanding of IT support processes and are keen to learn about incident management and service request enhancements. You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable working in a team environment, collaborating with various departments to provide effective IT support.

You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. You understand the importance of documentation and are willing to contribute to creating and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance IT service delivery. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and processes that can improve efficiency in IT operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of the Global Service Desk Team, where your primary responsibility will be to manage and improve incident management and service request processes. You will assist in documenting new or existing SOPs to ensure that IT support is delivered faster and more effectively to all departments within Sophos. You will collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance the overall IT support experience.

You will also engage with various stakeholders to understand their IT needs and provide timely assistance. Your role will involve monitoring and responding to service requests, ensuring that all incidents are logged accurately and resolved in a timely manner. You will gain valuable experience in IT operations and contribute to the success of Sophos by supporting its mission to provide advanced security solutions.
