You have a strong background in accounting with experience in international financial reporting and compliance. You understand the complexities of managing financial information across different jurisdictions, particularly in relation to U.S. GAAP and international regulations. Your attention to detail ensures that all financial data is accurate and timely, and you are comfortable preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. You are proactive in partnering with local service providers to ensure that statutory filings are completed correctly and on time.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including tax teams and local service providers. Your ability to navigate complex financial landscapes makes you a valuable asset in ensuring compliance with VAT/GST and other international tax requirements. You are adaptable and thrive in fast-paced environments, ready to tackle the challenges that come with supporting a global initiative like Starlink.

What you'll do

In this role, you will participate in the accounting close process, ensuring that all monthly financial information for Starlink subsidiaries is reported accurately and on time. You will prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and manage accruals and reserves as necessary. Your responsibilities will also include handling intercompany transactions and foreign currency conversions to support the financial operations of Starlink.

You will work closely with local service providers to review and coordinate international statutory filings, bridging statutory financial and tax books to U.S. GAAP. Supporting the tax team, you will help meet international regulatory and tax compliance needs, ensuring that all financial practices align with local laws and regulations. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting as SpaceX continues to expand its global footprint.
