What you'll do

As a Senior Build Engineer at SpaceX, you will develop design concepts from scratch and size vehicle structures based on flight loads. You will collaborate with peers from various vehicle systems to create designs that balance mass, cost, and capability. Your role will involve creating detailed designs and generating CAD models in NX for components, assemblies, and vehicle integration. You will also build finite element models to assess your designs in detail and analyze structures to ensure they meet the vehicle's needs. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Starship project, pushing the boundaries of aerospace engineering.
