Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and integrating control systems for complex machinery. You are familiar with NFPA79/NEC/UL508A compliance and have a solid understanding of industrial electrical control panels. Your expertise includes designing control and data acquisition systems, as well as electrical conveyance and distribution systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy interfacing with other engineering disciplines to achieve project goals. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for developing innovative solutions in the aerospace industry.
Desirable
Experience with automated solutions and a background in aerospace or similar industries would be a plus. Familiarity with motion systems and I/O systems is also desirable, as is a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to safety standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will architect, design, and integrate electrical control systems for the Starship launch pads. You will be responsible for designing industrial electrical control panels that meet compliance standards, ensuring that all systems are safe and efficient. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers to develop innovative solutions for the launch mount and integration tower. Your responsibilities will include designing electrical schematics and overseeing the implementation of electrical conveyance and distribution systems. You will also interface with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of systems and contribute to the overall success of the Starship program.
