Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience leading project teams through the entire lifecycle of electrical engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes. You are adept at consulting with engineers and contractors to ensure project success and have a proven track record of managing complex electrical requirements for aerospace or industrial projects.
Your ability to develop detailed drawings, design documentation, and reports is complemented by your skills in writing and negotiating construction contracts. You thrive in dynamic environments where you can resolve design and construction conflicts in real-time, ensuring that projects stay on track and meet critical deadlines.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to interact effectively with internal and external customers to determine their electrical needs. Your experience coordinating with electrical utility providers ensures reliable power service to critical site infrastructure, making you a key player in project execution.
You are comfortable providing support and direction to electricians and technicians during the construction and activation of power distribution equipment. Your collaborative approach enables you to work seamlessly with engineers, contractors, and fabricators, fostering a productive team environment.

What you'll do
As an Electrical Engineer on the Starship Launch Engineering team, you will lead the electrical project team, ensuring that all aspects of electrical engineering are executed efficiently. You will consult with engineers and contractors throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to final commissioning, ensuring that all electrical requirements are met.
Your responsibilities will include developing detailed drawings and design documentation for various projects, as well as writing and managing construction contracts with subcontractors. You will resolve design and construction conflicts in the field, providing real-time solutions to keep projects on schedule.
You will coordinate with electrical utility providers to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure, playing a vital role in the success of the launch operations. Your support and direction to electricians and technicians during the construction and activation of power distribution equipment will be crucial in achieving project milestones.
You will interact with a diverse group of engineers, contractors, and fabricators, fostering collaboration and ensuring that all team members are aligned with project goals.
